Pétanque is a French game similar to lawn bowling or bocce ball. Pétanque is a game of boules where the goal is to toss or roll hollow steel balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a "cochonnet" or jack, while standing inside a circle with both feet on the ground. Join us from 11 am to 3 pm to watch a competition between 3 Bay Area clubs and one from Fresno conducted under the auspices of the Federation of Petanque USA.
