The STAFE (Soutien au Tissu Associatif des Français a l'Etranger) is based on the allocation of subsidies to projects whose purpose is educational, charitable, cultural or socio-economic integration and which contribute to the support of French people abroad. The projects must imperatively benefit in whole or in part to French users, with the aforementioned aim of helping them on an educational, charitable, cultural or economic level to be eligible for STAFE. STAFE projects complement, while distinguishing themselves from, the existing aid programs for the French managed by our embassies and consulates. They are also distinct from the subsidies in the cultural and educational sector that appear in other budget programs.
